I had the honor of reporting to Theresa for more than 14 years while working for GE Research. Theresa is the consummate professional - a true role model of a leader. Theresa and I worked together at GE from 2004 through 2018. She is among the best in the business in forming public private partnerships, with an emphasis on cutting edge R&D. Whenever I asked for her support on any issue or needed to connect with someone in her network, Theresa was someone I could count on. At the same time, her results in securing government funding for research at the GE Research Center have been phenomenal. Now, the course I teach at the University of Pennsylvania includes a segment on partnerships between private organizations and governments. Theresa was my first choice as a guest lecturer on that subject, and she has kindly shared her expertise with the class for several years. Her presentations and the discussions that follow are a highlight of the course for the students. I am looking forward to her presentation to the 2023 version of the course.
